Due to such a high demand for our first special edition with Chloe, we are excited to continue our collaboration with another retreat this fall.
From September 30 – October 1 we are partnering up with LA-based chef and food stylist Chloe Walsh (@chloecooks) for the second time, to create an unforgettable week filled with delicious food, movement and surf. You can expect a week of creative and colorful food, surfing at our beautiful home break, and restorative yoga by Maria Eskitxabel. Enjoy our hearty breakfasts and afternoon apéros accompanied by al fresco lunches, picturesque picnics by the Atlantic ocean, and intimate dinners featuring local ingredients prepared in Chloe’s unique culinary style.
Chloe studied at the Italian culinary institute in Calabria in Italy, and has been recipe developing and working as a freelance chef full-time for the past 5 years. Her delicious food is vegetable-forward with the occasional protein or fish taking center stage.
ALL breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are included, except one restaurant dinner.
The retreat will maintain its signature 'bonbon' style, offering a week of surfing, yoga, nutritious food, and natural wines in the picturesque setting of Casaviel—a beautifully renovated stone house in Biarritz, France, dating back over 300 years.
This retreat is open for all genders, and levels in surf & yoga. Limited spots available <3

The location
Biarritz, nestled in the Basque Country, is a vibrant surf town with stunning beaches, charming boutiques, and a laid-back yet lively atmosphere. The weather is variable, with hot, sunny days and occasional rain, which keeps the environment lush and green.
Casaviel, our retreat home between Biarritz and Bidart, is a charming stone house just a short walk from the beach, offering cozy accommodations, a beautiful garden, and delicious breakfasts prepared by our wonderful hosts, Lucas and Diane. The house is 10 min bus ride or 30 min walk from Biarritz centre, with the bus stop right next to the house.

The Food
At our retreats, we bring joy to wellness through food. The meals are colorful, nutritious, homemade, and wholesome. At this special edition with Chloe Walsh, she'll be our chef in residence cooking all lunches and dinners included. (one dinner out is not included in the package)

The surf & yoga
We cater all levels of surfing, from first timers to more experienced ones. For the first timers, beginners and intermediates learning to turn, we offer surf lessons with our amazing surf teachers Johanna and Christoph. For the more experienced ones we have our lovely surf guide Lucas who will show you the best spots around town. We also have a quiver of colorful longboards and cruisers to try out, handshaped by Lucas.
The weather in Biarritz in May and June is usually around 20 degrees during the days and 15 celsius during the nights. In October, the weather is usually more stable and a bit warmer, with temperatures around 22+ and a bit warmer evenings than in the beginning of summer. The water is warmer in the fall than in the spring, so most of the days you’ll only need a short wetsuit. In the spring we normally
recommend a 3’2 long wetsuit.
As both the ocean and mountains surround the area (which is what makes it so special and beautiful) the weather can sometimes be hard to predict. We’ve had retreats in May with +25 degrees everyday and sun and we’ve had retreats in June and July with more rain.
As a common rule the waves are softer in the summer and have more power in the fall, but also this changes a lot. We always have a spot to go to with more sheltered waves if the waves happen to be bigger.
The yoga is a mix of Hatha, Yin and Flow sessions by the lovely Maria Eskitxabel. The yoga sessions are adapted after the group, and take into consideration the surf activity during the day. We’ll have sessions that are more demanding and other sessions that are more restorative and meditative.
